I’ve been out for a while, working on some projects that I can’t wait to share.
I though it could be nice to start with a loom bracelet tutorial.
Rainbow loom became very popular nowadays. I like the idea of creating something with simple multicolored rubber bands.
Bracelets are my favorites, so here is one using this technique.
You will need a loom board weaving frame, Rainbow loom bands and hook.
Set up your board in the way that the middle colum is shifted up.
Place the first band (blue) from the first pin to the second one in the middle column of the board. Then the second band (light blue) from the second pin to the next one and so on, until the last pin.
You have completed placing the bands in the middle column. Now put a band in the last pin, turn it over and place it back in the same pin.
Using the middle, left and right column place a pink band (as it’s shown on the photo), creating a rombo shape and continue until you reach the pin before the last one.
Turn the board upside down. Insert the hook as on the photo …
and pull the light blue band and attach it to the next pin.
Repeat this step all the way, till the end.
Pass a band through, between the left and the middle pin (as it’s shown on the photo). In this way you will be able to hold together all the bands you have attached on the board. Then, insert the hook in the way you will join together the left and right side of the band you just inserted.
Remove carefully the waving loom.
After you remove it all, you will get something like this.
Make an extension of 3 extra bands on each side of the bracelet…
and finish your bracelet just adding the locking hook.
And you are done.
Enjoy your bracelet!!!
